How to Buy Very Cheap Cars and Make a Lot of Money – Auctions – The Secret You Probably Don’t Know

In a time of recession it becomes very difficult to buy a new very cheap car. So what are the alternatives to that? Most people don’ realize that during a recession many hidden opportunities appear. One such opportunity is that every month many luxury cars get auctioned: this is a great chance to buy a normally very expensive car at only a fraction of its initial value.
Well my first inhibitions was that buying an auctioned car could be something very complicated. I couldn’t be more wrong. So I started searching the Internet to find any sites that provide information on how to purchase such cars. I’ve had a hard time to find a really good site that will provide such information but after several days of searching, I finally struck gold.
I signed myself are started immediately looking through the lists and oh boy was I surprised. I found cars that normally cost over $25,000 at prices of less than $4000. The surprise came when I found a nice Honda S2000 which normally sells for $22,000 at the staggering price of only $3000.
I have never, ever in my life grabbed my wallet that fast.
From that point on I realized that there was a business opportunity here. I proceeded buying several cars which I re-sold later for double and triple the initial price. The last six months only I have made more than $25,000 by just making three simple transactions. Total working time: less than four days.…

Ford S-max Billed As The ?auto 1 Of Europe?

The Ford Motor Company may be suffering blows on their home turf but their subsidiary in Europe is receiving award after awards for the S-Max – the best selling crossover utility vehicle from Ford of Europe. The Ford S-Max has already received awards and praises from different groups in the auto industry.

Consumers have also spoken in favor of the S-Max as shown in the high sale of the vehicle. More recently, Germany?s largest car magazine, the AutoBild, with its 23 sister publications in Europe, gave the Ford S-Max the distinction of being the ?Auto 1 of Europe?. Aside from being dubbed as such, the S-Max is also gunning for the trophy in its class – the minivan category.

The award was presented during the Auto 1 Gala Event at Espace S?cheron in Geneva. The prestigious award was presented by Dr. Andreas Wiele, the Chairman of the magazine division at Axel Springer AG. John Fleming, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ford of Europe, and Bernhard Mattes, the Chairman of the Management Board at Ford Werke GmbH were present at the said event to jointly receive the award.

?This is fantastic news and these awards fill us with pride,? says Fleming. ?Together with the other awards that have been won by the Ford S-MAX this latest accolade shows that this car has touched a nerve with the public and the specialist media,? he added. Riding on the momentum of the achievement of the S-Max, Ford of Europe will be launching the Ford Mondeo in the European auto market. “For us, this is further proof that our renewed emphasis on dynamic new products that connect emotionally with customers is making a positive contribution to Ford of Europe’s business success. We are confident that the all-new Ford Mondeo will continue this momentum and generate similar interest and enthusiasm when we launch this summer,? Fleming added further.

Aside from being dubbed as the ?Auto 1 of Europe?, the S-Max also won the ?Car of the Year 2007?. The number of victories for the crossover utility vehicle, which is now over fifteen national or individual magazine awards, serves as an Accel ignition system which sparks the interest of the European motorists not only on the S-Max but also for other Ford vehicles sold in the European car market.

The Ford of Europe is also planning to launch a smaller version of the Ford S-Max to further boost the sales of Ford vehicles in the continent. Aside from the Ford Mondeo, Ford of Europe will also be offering the smaller C-Max, the smaller sibling of the S-Max. Ford of Europe hopes that the addition of the Mondeo and the C-Max to their lineup will continue their good successes in the European market.…

Automotive Insurance Assurance

To protect yourself from loss in the event of an accident you must purchase insurance. In the automotive realm this is an easy thing to do but there are a lot of options that you need to consider first so that you can get the most for your money.
You are bombarded everyday with advertisements from insurance companies on television, radio, magazines, and newspapers, not to mention the unasked for envelopes in your mailbox from insurance companies who know nothing about you offering to save you up to $497 dollars per year on your auto insurance.
Let’s look at some interesting insurance history first. In an ancient treasure called the Code of Hammurabi we find that in Babylon around 1780 B.C. that if a merchant ships cargo was lost, traders were protected from financial responsibility in exchange for 20 percent of the cargo’s value.
The first car insurance policy was written in England around 1895. The first car insurance policy in the United States was written in 1898. In the year 1927, Massachusetts became the first state to require mandatory automobile insurance. All fifty states now require automobile insurance but it is up to each state to determine the minimum amounts of required coverage.
Coverage- Certain coverage may be costing you more money than you need to pay. An example would be carrying physical damage coverage on a vehicle with a low value. Another example would be having double coverage when a health insurance policy is in force. Find a knowledgeable insurance agent to guide you in making these decisions. Always get more than one quote. Get a second and maybe even a third estimate.
The vehicle that you drive is generally the second most expensive investment that you have purchased and it should be protected by an insurance policy just as you have protected your home against damage. Did you know that it is a good idea to get an insurance quote prior to purchasing a vehicle as some fall into a higher risk category.
Adding additional vehicles on the same policy can help to reduce your rates with a multi car discount. The amount of miles that you put on a vehicle in a year has a direct impact on how much your insurance premium will be. MileMeter Insurance Company, based in Dallas Texas, sells insurance per mile and has over 100 pending patent claims.
There are some insurance discounts available to good drivers that year after year do not turn in any claims. These discounts are issued as a result of having a good driving record with a certain minimum amount of driving experience. A good student discount can help younger drivers with a discounted premium. Some things that cannot be controlled, such as age and sex, can impact prices also. Discounts for seniors can be attained by taking and graduating defensive driving classes.…

When to Turn in a Car Insurance Claim

When people are involved in car accidents they’re often afraid to tell their insurance company about it. They’re worried their insurance prices will go up.
Your insurance rates will only increase if you were at fault for the accident. Even if you were at fault, the fear of increased rates shouldn’t deter you from reporting the claim. You can be sure the other party will talk to their insurance provider, who will contact your provider.
The reason you pay for insurance is to protect you from instances exactly like this. Your liability coverage will cover any injuries and damage to the other party. You already pay for your insurance, you may as well utilize it.
You’ll want to file a claim as soon possible so your insurance provider can get started on resolving the accident and getting you back on the road as soon as possible. They’ll get in touch with the other insurance company and the other parties involved on your behalf.
Do not try to settle the accident on your own. Almost always, the other party will claim injuries, loss of income, pain and suffering and more. Unless you’re a millionaire, you won’t be able to afford this. Just let your insurance take care of it.
If you discover your car has been vandalized in some way (broken window, scratches, etc) or if it’s stolen, assuming you have Comprehensive coverage, your rates will NOT be affected as you weren’t a negligent driver.
Insurance rates only go up when the insurance company can see that you are more of a risk as a driver.
So don’t be afraid to file a claim.…

Auto Repair Warranty Offers Many Different Options

If you’ve been researching warranties online, you might think you have a handle on the auto repair warranty. It is pretty simple, right? If something breaks, the warranty will cover the cost to repair or replace it.
But there’s a problem with that statement. Not everything that breaks is covered in every situation.
There are two types of parts failures, as far as your warranty is concerned. A part either fails because of a mechanical breakdown, or it fails because of accumulated wear and tear. And in most warranties, there is a world of difference between the two situations.
If there is a failure in a part because of a fault that was introduced in the production or assembly stages, that will be repaired under most warranties. But what if the part was perfectly fine when it came out of the factory, and there were no problems with its installation? Why would a part break otherwise?
The older your car gets, the more likely it is that a part will fair due to repetitive use, or “wear and tear”. Think of it like you would a pair of sneakers. If the sole rips off the first time you go for a run, you will likely be able to return them for a full refund. If the stitching comes undone after a week, it won’t be your fault. But if you run and run and run, and eventually, the heel wears down to the point that it cracks, you certainly wouldn’t be able to return them for a refund. The same principle applies to your car. The longer you own your car, and the more mileage you put on it, the more likely it is that a part failure will be due to “wear and tear”.
So what? Won’t the warranty cover wear and tear damage? It is impossible to speak for every warranty out there, but many of them, the answer is no. And of course, if it is not covered, you might find yourself having to argue with the warranty provider about what constitutes “wear and tear”. This is why you will want to read the fine print of a prospective new auto repair warranty before you sign it. A “mechanical breakdown only” warranty will likely cost a lot less, but the older the car, the more likely that your part failure will simply be written off as “wear and tear”, and the costs for repair or replacement will fall squarely on your shoulders.…

What You Should Look For in a Test Drive

What exactly are you looking for in a car? You’ve thought about all of that and have gone to get your test drive. Well congratulations! But then always remember that even when you think that you have figured it all out, you might not have actually. You might just be looking at a car situation from the point of view that is basically manufactured by the car company itself. Your dream car might just be a test drive away, but are you really well prepared to know exactly what you expect from the test drive? Read on.
Check whether the car is well made and if there is any empty space between the fender and the hood. Check whether the wiring under the hood is done properly and bundled as would want it to be. Also, is the paint fine? Are the metal edges smooth rough?
While You are Taking a Seat in the Car
Is it easy enough to enter and exit the car? Is the back seat equipped with enough leg space? If you need a child car seat, check if there is space enough to insert one? Is the driver’s seat comfortable enough for your legs to move and press on the breaks, etc.? is it in fact comfortable enough for a long drive? While you are sitting in the car you should run all these checks.
While Driving, Can You See Everything Well?
Is the top of the steering wheel rim higher than your shoulder? Check the wipers, the wiping fluid and see which part of the windshield the wiper does not take care of as you will need to know that for safe driving. The passenger side mirror also should be checked for bind spots. All this is part of the vision test.
Checking the Suspension
Comfort is really important and you should have as much of that as you can while you are driving. Is the rid too soft? Or even too hard? Does it jar your spine too much? If you are buying a sporty car you should be looking for a firmer ride. A few sharp turns of the wheel, u-turns- you should check the suspension reacting to all of this. It is extremely crucial to check if a u-turn can be made in a single smooth motion. How does the car perform on bumps?
Checking Steering
A small turn with the steering wheel should be executed by the wheels quickly enough. You should check how much effort you have to put into the steering. Too less or too much is both bad in this case. Check if the car moves in a steady course when you are relaxing the wheel on a steady course.
Choose you features carefully as with the set of wheels or the set of features that could give you a better deal with the car. You will know these after the test drive. Fuel economy is a must check. Carry out an evaluation based on all of this.…
